The client buys the development site and at the same time enters into a binding contract with us to have the house built to the agreed plans, specification and price. This has several benefits for our clients including a saving on stamp duty as this is only paid on the development site, the fact that new houses are VAT free and the house is built to the client’s specification. We take care of the project from the beginning to handing over the keys. We project manage the complete build using selected contractors who are prepared to work closely with us and care about their work. Site meetings are held throughout the process to keep the client informed and allow input to the process. We always recommend that potential clients take detailed advice from their solicitor or professional advisors before entering into a contract. We undertake the design process but this is done with the client’s wishes as the starting point so that the client ends up with the house of their dreams. With our development experience, we can help you understand all the different choices and advise on all the technical specifications. This process is ideal for those with the drive and ambition to
build their own home but do not have the time due to their other
commitments. We are used to having to work outside normal hours
to accommodate our client’s lifestyle. |
